Dear Neighbor,

There will be an important City Council election on Tuesday, November 4th. I’m running for our Fifth Ward seat because I believe we can protect and strengthen the quality of life in Ann Arbor while reaching to put Ann Arbor on a more sustainable footing for the future.

I understand, and deeply value, the special quality of life in our neighborhoods. I was born and raised in the Fifth Ward, attended its public schools, and returned for its strong community, accessible parks, and pedestrian-friendly downtown. Now my wife, Heather, and I live near Virginia Park.

Ann Arbor faces a number of challenges and opportunities in the coming years that will require an open-minded, diligent, common-sense approach. I know that we can do the hard work of building a consensus around a shared vision of the Ann Arbor of tomorrow.

Please join me and vote on Tuesday, November 4th.

Thank you!
